"ABC" SKIN BARRIER CUTTER INSTRUCTIONS
- Determine hole size to cut by matching your stoma size in inches or millimeters to
corresponding letter using the Table. For example: selecting
letter "B" and aligning cutter head below arrow on base post will cut a hole
size one inch (1") or twenty-five millimeters (25 mm) in diameter. Inserting cutter
head so that letter "B" aligns below plus (+) will cut a hole size one and one
eighth inch (1 1/8"). Aligning below minus (-) will cut a hole size seven eighth inch
(7/8"). Show me this step (A.) with a picture.
- Separate cutter head from base post by lifting cutter head upward from base post and set
aside. Align skin barrier with flange side up over post of cutter base and push down
through hole until flat on cutter base. Show me this step (B.)
with a picture.
- Align selected letter on cutter head to arrow or plus (+) or minus (-) on base post and
press down with finger until cutter head is flush with top of post. To cut hole size
rotate skin barrier, not cutter head, with 45 to 90 degree rotations while applying
downward finger pressure on post. Separate skin barrier from cutter base and remove cut
material. Skin barrier is now ready for use. Show me this step
(C.) with a picture.
