FOR TRACE CUTTING IRREGULAR SHAPED STOMAS
1. Trace the irregular shaped stoma on the flange side of the skin barrier, using a
marker, centering it around the starter hole.
2. Select
the letter size that will cut a round hole about 1/4" smaller than the traced hole,
which will allow clearance to maneuver the skin barrier around the center post.
3. Remove cutter and skin barrier, (peel off center circle just cut) and poke finger
through the center hole, tearing the silicone release paper backing for maneuvering
clearance.

4. Drop skin barrier over center post, and align the blade guide line over the traced line
(allowing adequate clearance for maneuvering skin barrier). Push cutter downward into
center post, while holding in this position, feed skin barrier toward the blade center
line, following the traced line, in a manner similar to operating a sewing machine.

5. Follow the traced line to complete the cut. Remove skin barrier, peel off cut
material, and backing paper, now proceed with barrier application.
